Fitness has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. Competitive cheerleading was basically my whole life in high school. In college I coached cheerleading and tumbling. I enjoyed running around the fort to get my sweat sessions in. Unfortunately, after years of running incorrectly, I developed an issue with my IT band which led me to try different types of fitness. I tried a basic gym membership, zumba, insanity, p90x yoga, and then I stumbled upon CrossFit and fell in love. So much so that I ended up co-owning a CrossFit gym and coaching for a few years.

While I was coaching I realized I had a passion helping people reach their fitness goals. There's nothing more rewarding to me than to see someone accomplish something they never knew they had in them! I decided along the way that I wanted to pursue one-on-one training because I enjoy getting to know my clients on a more personal level. I want to be able to help each client develop a health and fitness routine based on their individual goals that will lead to long term success.

Now for some non-fitness related stuff. I love all animals! We have a puppy named Cash and a kitty named Dolly who we love with all our heart! I graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2011 with a BA in Communication. I love tailgating at UT football games. I enjoy working hard and being able to enjoy a glass of wine and a good sushi dinner at Nama. It's all about balancing the small indulgences :)
